The ending leaves enough loose ends to start a new season of the anime, if there is one.

It was a great ending... and an very interesting attempt to integrate a fictional universe into our reality. Plus, its a fun thought that Ed and Al might be around here somewhere :P.

On another note, this is what I consider to be the ending of the ending, its a very lovely albeit short movie clip: FMA Short (and if anyone knows where I can get it in better quality...)

the last episode is quite boring why did it have to end like that why didnt ed just stay in the alchemy world after al was reborn then marry or at least be the boyfriend of i forgot her name the one who fixed his automail

i dont even rememeber the last ep lool but ya i saw the movie and those scnese werent shown in the epsidoes well anyway does any1 know how many movies are there if so tell me

I dunno......I mean it could have ended in a much more.....shall I say complete way ~_~ ........ I mean it left more questions than answers if you ask me >_> ....... .... and I haven't seen the movie, so I have no idea if that one answers the unanswered questions that the series left, 'cuzz I mean, come on how do end an anime where the whole plot centered around them getting back their bodies and all that with one getting his body back and forgetting how he lost it in the first place, and the other one not getting his body back and getting lost in some other dimension >_> ........ that ended was horrible, and depressing, and not something worthy of been called an ending. I demand a second season where they make it all better >_<!!!!!!!!!!!

the lasp ep wasn't that great,and the movie didn't really make it up to it.soo........hope there will b second movie
