yes, but in the end Hohenheim turns out to be rather a good person, and it wasn't him that created homunculus... they were created by people who tried to do human transmutation (for example Ed and Al created Sloth while trying to ressurect their mother...), Hohenheim only made full Philosopher's Stone by killing all city... The main enemy was that woman...
Well Ed and Al's father used ppl that were dying from the plague and those who where hunted as witches to make the first stone so i dont know abotu how god or evil his intentions were but at the end it seemed he understood that what he did was wrong and that he was not meant to be immortal ad tried to stop Dante from screwing with his kids, but dante won that encounter.
As far as i know, he only created Envy which was his attempt to ressurrect his and dantes son.
Well the woman Dante and Hohenheim were in it together to start with but he learned the error of his ways and left her. Then he met Trishia but like you say that's the anime I read the manga as it become availiable but it takes forever!
Of course it was Hohenheim. Did you guys really think it was someone else???
Anyhow, now I've read the last three chapters too ^.^ So now I will just have to read from vol 5 - those chapters.... dear, dear me T_T
