Fruits Basket 2nd Season?
Is there any more word about a second season for FB? Last I heard, FUNimation was having people makes 1000 paper cranes and send them to the company, as that is supposed to be good luck, a sort of petition. I know they finished that, but I haven't heard about any results, and it was a while ago. I hope they make a second season though.

well if you want to know check out www.animenewsnetwork.com for the latest news. but i dont think they're coming out with a second season but i seriously hope they do. Fruits Basket one of my favorite series.

I looked there already. The only big mistake they made with the anime was making Akito decidedly male, but showing his chest, etc.

1000 cranes? Woah, that's cool. I requesting that from my friend! Oh, anyway back to the topic. I doubt they will make a second season. Well, if they do I'm happy. But it has been quite a few years since the first season. Ah, well, maybe when they feel like making one, they will just make one.

I hope there is a second season...although that could be hard seeing as they messed up the whole Akito thing...which happens with a lot of manga turned anime, I guess. I haven't heard anything so far but you never know with these things, ne?  |

Yeah i heard thing about akito being female in the manga why did they make her male in the anime that's stupid anyway's it'd be cool if they make a second season Fruits basket is so good didn't like the ending thought too rushed with the akito scean in my opinion.

1000... it isn't that they were trying to get the most amount possible, it's a significant number of cranes in Japanese culture.
And about Akito... at the time they were making the anime, it hadn't been revealed that she was female, so it's an honest mistake.
