How many episodes does Fruit Basket have? 26? I heard that there are more...the part where Tohru choose between Yuki and the Neko...any idea ?

There're only 26 episodes. The part where Tohru chose between Kyo (the cat) and Yuki (the mouse) is in the manga. Who's Neko?! Hmm, it has been quite a few months since I last watched the anime so I kind of forgotten the names of the characters. Okay um, in other words the anime stopped at only episode 26. It didn't continue, but the manga is on-going.. I'm not sure if it is STILL on-going but the manga did stretch further than the anime. Sad, huh? :/

Yeah, there's only 26 episodes. And a neko is a cat in Japanese, so I'm assuming that lynnerilian is talking about Kyo.

Cool. I have to get ahold of the Manga then.
Although it is sad that the anime did stop. It is better to stop and do a decent anime, then to continue on if the great flow of the anime is disrupted.
Fruits Basket, I believe, should be a staple of any cross-genre anime lover. At least seen, if not owned.

And yeah, Neko = Cat.
Normally Yuki calls Kyo 'BAKA-NEKO' --- 'stupid cat!'
I cannot remember the insult Kyo throughs back, but features 'nezumi' which is Japanese for rat/mouse.

Thus:

Neko = Cat
Nezumi = Mouse
Inu = Dog

The main three animals in the story arc.

And I think we all know what a 'Usugi' is.

haha no chance to watch the rest of it in anime if you really like this series just try to pick up manga

at the end of the anime at least... tohru isnt specifically with anyone

LOL...i forgot Kyo's name. I juz remember he is a cat and cat = Neko in Japanese. How come it only continue in manga and not in anime? Gay...I luv that anime. And I dun really like readin manga though. Such a waste...
