I've heard the author planned to write it until he died..... Maybe he'll hide the ending somewhere and let the fans try to solve some mysterious puzzles as in his manga? Just my imagination. ^^"

I though this anime was awsome when I first watched it on Adult Swim. I was really pissed when they stopped showing it. I thought to myself that it only lasted that long, then I come to find there is around like 460 episodes. Sad thing is, I dont have the time to watch all 400 episodes I havent seen. Does the real story progress, or does it come to it every one in a while after showing many other cases?

I would like the real story to continue. All those episodes that don't change anything in the main story are not better than the 100 filler episodes in naruto. I hate watching fillers...
