The difference with banners, logos etc.

As most of the people use word banner of signature picture.. D'oh! Anyway

Banner = for sites like on MediWar has the banner at the top.

Logo = for companies and/or gaming clans, which is usually smalls, almost same as avatar picture.

Signature = or sig for short is the image which shows in your signature, which you can add and edit on your User CP.

I made this, 'cos some people asks for banner for sites, banner for signature and even banner for avatar.. Just to make it clear.

Avatar = Small image usually around the size of 80x80 used as a personal photo for that member



thats my definition for it at least, ya banners are like logos at the top of sites, sigs are the stuff with your name in it or a message or what evere u put at the bottem of posts, and logos are little designs companys or people use

avatars arent "usually 80 x 80". maybe on this quarrel forum, but not everywhere.

well, im not saying like they always are, but alot of sites limit it to 80x80 so im just saying thats the size I see them at alot. its a decent size for them too, so o well
