Of course, by downloading pirated programs you open yourself to unnecessary legal liability and malware infiltrating your computer... Not something I would advise promoting either...

In any event I figured this thread would be a good place to introduce these... two of these are learning editions and quite exceptional ones... they just cannot be used commercially:

Graphics and 3D animation/Modeling
GIMP (Photoshop substitute)
Blender
Houdini Apprentice (Personal Learning edition)
Maya 8.5 (Personal Learning Edition)

only stupid ppl get malware and viruses i have not been doing that kind of downloading..(not really..) for 6 years and have not gotten a virus so far
