were there important parts that were edited out of the dubbed version.

i've never watched the japanese version.. i've only seen the dubbed ones and they were pretty cool anyway.. action, drama and stuff..

Actually i think the dubb is much better than the sub. I have watched both and it seemed that the dub actually had more content and coherent speech.
And to top it all off i liked Faye's voice a lot better in the dubbed version, she sounded too prissy in the sub.

im sorry but i must say this. I dont like the dubbed version at all. It takes the character out of the characters

Almost any anime that is dubbed gets butchered so they can play it on adult swim or some other station. That is the reason why I no longer watched dubbed anime (except for cowboy bebop, it's the best dub EVER!).

The English may be a bit jumbled, but the message in the Cowboy Bebop promos effectively captures the essence of the series.
