Well , it may look funny , but in an episode the two of them started a fight that was interupted.Who do you think would win if the fight was continued till the end ?

Well, I think it's obvious that Ed's father was stronger at hand-to-hand combat than Spike. So he would probably have won. But maybe Spike would have used some kind of trick to beat him.

I disagree - I think Spike would win after seeing how he does up against Vicious. If he didn't win it would be because it wasn't that important to him.
