well his family well not really i dont really get into that much of a detail but if u wonderin who is that woman spike keep lookin for her name is julia. i thinnk that she save him or somethin like that and they fell in love and so so on

julia was the one who saved spike from death after he came stumbling around the streets half dead. Julia is why spike is alive n Spike loves her and was supposed to quit the mafia with her but people who are quit the mafia is to be killed so dats y spike was almost dead n soo onnnnn. Spike was never given a family or atleast spoken about, so i guess the closest family he has is the bebop crew

julia's story is never quite explained, which is a pity. A few more flashbacks would have helped.

She also kinda reminds me of a similar character from anotehr anime.........

like who?? i think her storyline is already been well explained. She used to be with vicious then found spike almost dead she helps him they fall in love. Spike tells her he is going to leave the mafia and told her to come. the mafia went after both of them n now they are running away from them end of story

I believe the woman who raised spike is the owner of that convenience store... Annie. She seems to be spikes mother. And I Julia is his girlfriend from his early days.
