Suicide.
Recently it has occured to me that I have nothing left to live for. I've experienced everything I could possibly need in life and going on further would just be a tedious and redundant task. I personally think I have become a better person since I joined Quarrel. When I first joined, I wrote like an idiot and pointlessly created strife with anyone I could annoy, even if it made me look like a hypocritical douche. My acknowledgements go to (while some may not still be here) Zelor, while I still may not share many of your beliefs, I still respect you for not being such a pussy. And for some reason, you are the only person I argued with who never gave me an ego boost afterwards. Ian, I don't know why, but that guy was cool. Yuuji, while I may not know you well, you just seem to have this aura of wisdom about you. All you need is a philisophical avatar and signature and the whole package will be complete. Kate, you're young but you have the capabilities to rock the world, keep in mind age doesn't make you insignificant to anyone but rather, gives you the ability to view the world in ways others could never imagine. And you need to teach your parents whose boss. Xzaf, a bad-ass among men and it's a shame he isn't a moderator anymore. Glitterby, for making me more knowledgeable and in turn, turning me into a vegetarian. And last, but not least, Chuck Norris, for being the greatest being that's ever lived. My disacknowledgements go to Natsume, Mdawg, Daz, Kanjisasahara, Matt, Sergeant, spammers, MrRich, Sinx, Shandamajor (if that's his name), zwi00 and I'm sure there are a few others. They aren't in any particular order except for Natsume, he's first on my list.
While I may just ponder on the thought of death and decide not to, I am writing this just incase I do decide to shove the kitchen knife that is next to me right through my throat.
Incase I never get to talk again, good bye. Except for Natsume, I'll see you in hell.

Bam:
ok, debate time, (heck of a time..)
you say:

ok, you say your reasoning is because you experienced everything you could possibly need in life, but what about all the things that bring joy?
ok, apparently you have something in mind that would lead you to think lifes not worth living, and regardless of your usual deconstruction of things, I find it hard to believe your decision is based simply off of lack of things left in life, I am guessing, that something happened that has really upset you, or you had one of the "whats left to live for?" thoguhts, which you say you did, but not the usual reason people say that,
so, lets see whats left in life,
falling in love (yes, it does happen)
getting married
having kids, raising them, (diapers are only required for so long)
buying a house,
making a success of yourself and having something in life,
traveling the world, if you've done it, do it again, pick different locations,
going to concerts,
making new friends,
looking back on life 30 years from now and remembering all the good times,
looking back on life in 80+ years and remembering all the good times,
I can go on, easily, but thats a few things you can have to look forward to,
life isnt easy, and it sucks at times, sure, but dude, lack of things to do is no reason to kill yourself, if nothing else, start a thread in chit chat and debate it into the ground,
people here do care about you, I may not seem like it, but I do, I just have to curb stuff on the forums as a mod, Im not saying that so you will do me a favor in not ending it all, its just another reason to live, there is alot in life that makes it worth living, you just have to go get it, and make what you can out of what you get, if your not happy with life, work your way towards a happier life, heck, come to america, you can vote for your pick on the president and complain about the other while sitting on your front porch with your friends, like many, heh,
all I can say is, suicide isnt the answer, its permanent, there is no going back once its done, no more life, no friends, no family, no future, no 2nd chance,
though, if you decide to live, you have a chance to change whatever your circumstances are, and make life better, maybe it can change in a day, but rome wasnt built in a day either.

Re: Suicide.
If suicide wa the answer to everything that was in this world, we would have a very silent spring. Even though I dont know you at all, heres my two cents worth.
Killing yourself because you have seen all that is that life can offer you is to put it bluntly, bullshit. There are a lot of choices, as the moderator above me had pointed out, still left in life for you to explore. For all you know, you could be the next Bill Gates, be the next great dad, be the next somebody whoever in whatever field you choose to pursue. Right now you're in a slump. We all get that every single day. After all, we are human arent we? We werent made to last. If we were then we would be made of something even more hardier.
Suicide is never an answer to anything at all. All it does is to leave your family and friends with questions as to why you did as such, what did we go wrong. The people who suffer the most are not the ones who die but the ones who are left to go on living trying to fill up the empty void that the one who died left. Would you be willing to do that to your parents? Hell I dont. And it would be a final decision as theres no coming back from death. It s a one way ticket to heaven or hell. Theres no coming back from either destination. In the end what do we all choose, life or death? Not many understand fully the implications of this decision have an impact on everyone we know. If you want to die though do it in a way that will solve everyones problems. That way you wont plague the living with bothersome questions.
My two cents worth of advice in the end is to wait stop and think carefully. Suicides are cases based on IMPULSE, not rational thinking. When we are all left with no option, when we are absolutely certain that death is going to come knocking at our door, take a step back and knock him out as death needs no help from either of us to take our lives.

Re: Suicide.
hmmm, strange, I dont see myself anywhere up on the list, maybe I've not pissed you off enough... lol... Well, there's plenty of stuff in the world to live in... And it really took you real lots of time to really think through and get on the right track, so congrats!! But, the world wouldnt mind one more ppl living in it, so perhaps think twice before you does anything, cause you have started to gain maturity and now life really starts for you and there's plenty more adventure in your life, so good luck and hope you continue to think of the right way!!

Re: Suicide.
Hey, I got a 'shout-out'!
'Aura of Wisdom'. I like the sound of that.
But wouldn't having a philosophical Avatar and Signature make it look like I have a ***** up my ***? Instead of preceived arrogance I was actually considering a picture of the ferret that this userid is named after. I fear anything truly philosophical would be a two-edged sword, and that sword being the Sword of Damocles.
Seriously...
You have posted first. A good sign.
And, hate to be cliche, when I was your age I needed to hear from others as well.
Thus I hope many people, especially people you know, post back about this subject.
We all need to know hope, our worth, and hear about our value from others (once in a while).
As for my own response, I'd rather send it via Private Message.

Re: Suicide.
lol i have simple things to say dieing such an early age is pathetic and stupid. u have a life to live goals to make things to do. liek they said theirs a bunch of things u can look up to.
although im 18...i really wont agree on if ur 80+ thing not even 60
Because i find it pointless to live so old.
i find being old a suffering. its something you remember in the past. but u seem to only look at the past and nothing good looking forward to. your old your sick id rather just die and suicide here and there.
since i believe in reincarnation ill die knowing ill be reincarnated as new person.

Re: Suicide.
try something different it might make life more interesting. living life the same way day after day will only make you bored of it. get out of your comfort circle and you'll get more excited about life.

Re: Suicide.
I have no problem with a "right to die" -- I just firmly believe you should DEFINITELY exhaust absolutely ALL your options before you try anything like that, 'cuz you're sure as heck not gonna get another chance in this world again.
Sounds to me like you've still got a lot of opportunities and elements of life yet to explore, there...I think you should put the ol' "s-word" on the backburner for now.

Re: Suicide.
Dont commit suicide, its the most selfish act one can do, it leave your family and friebds wondering, "What have we done wrong raising this child?" It will ruin so many other peoples lives. It is so selfish, do not do it.

I agree!
Hmm... try somthing dangerous like mountain climbing to mt. Everious. Or go through jungles or the sahara desert. Visit the world! I'm sure you haven't done everything. Their are places to go and people to see. Adventure to be found, and all ya have to do is go for it.
