My thoughts on Life, Death, and the Afterlife * Serious thread *

Ok all comments replies serious only no short posts. I want to know your beliefs or your thoughs on mine.

wow man you gonna get my big ass theory(S) i been thinkin of since I was 10 online? lol... ohk here we go.

First, I hope when we die we keep our thoughts and If possible our form.. why so when were all dead I can distinguish my loved ones from just anyone? that would be great... to have our mind and bodys... But there is that chance we could be a bunch of souls pondering a space? or if it's supose to be beautiful and perfect? what good is that when you are starting from scratch? a whole new life over again... and what if i was born again? re-incarnated would that mean id love a whole new set of parents? a new sister..? New friends and a whole new life? I could even be a girl? and not remember what the past was like ? If its like that then life is a birdin... if were not going to remember the best times we had... thats ****ing bullshit man i swear if its like that... you got me going all Emo right now lol... but then all that john edwards shit is bullshit? like he talks to ghosts n shit ? never made up my mind... so wait if other ghosts want to talk to there family members then they have there damn memories? thats a good thing.... but what I also dont understand is you know that reports of the people clinicaly dying and coming back? maybe it was some form of comma that is like right before you die instead of it being black? its white and shit? I mean **** i want to have my memories.. i want to see my grandparents and friends? I want to go and chill wit biggie and pac? lol ...

I don't care personally. I think people who care and worry about what will happen to them in the afterlife are just scared, and ruining their lives along with others. And those people are religious people. Whatever happens happens, and no matter what stupid guidelines of opinions I follow it won't make my life better now and that's all that matters. As long as I was a good person, that's all that matters. And I can save people from physical or emotional pain, but I will not and can not save others from a supposide damnation in the afterlife.

My moto is just live, its all you can do.

One more thing-In my mind, in the afterlife there is either re-incarnation, our souls will join mother nature and we'll become a power instead of a human, or its just blback and nothing exists, since we are dead and the only part of us that controls us is our brain, and when the brain dies we are dead. That would suck...but it makes too much sense. But I won't push past any other religious beliefs, but I won't follow everything they have to say, expecially when I'm Agnostic--which means I'm open to anything but won't say I'M completely right about this certain religion.

In our religion, our sense of death is the ending of our suffering on Earth, so when we did, Heaven is just a state of mind our body permanently goes through. If you have a good or bad state of mind, differs depending on how you put yourself through your life, people important to you, you see in your state of mind are with you there in Heaven how you left them here on Earth.
I hope that this makes sense because I really couldn't put it much differently.
We have no belief on an afterlife, just the one we have in Heaven.
And I'm not too sure on our thoughts on life. Sorry.

First of all, I'm a part of the "classical/ancient" Byzantine Catholic Rite(I'm sorry I didn't mention that before). We keep the beliefs that were from a long time ago, without many changes. Still most changes made in Vatican II council haven't even taken effect in our area.
Then, I want to try and put this in a different sense. We would see people as we dream about people. I know that personally I dream about people close to me. Now, I haven't died before, but that's what I was taught, to believe that in our state of mind we see people that are close to you that usually have already died, kind of how you see in some movies, where someone dies and taken up into heaven where they are reaquainted with lost loved ones. I hope this is clearer than how I put it before, and I apologize for not making that clear.

I'm fasanated (wow...spelling...) about things like that. I don't know what to believe on that, but its interestesting all the same. I think, however, that if it is true, I think that our souls are energy which return back to the earth, however, the energies can produce ghost like things can can somehow communicate. Like... sound waves and such.

But in this case if this was to happen, to create sound and communicate they would need memorys to communicate to there loved ones or else they be saying random things... to random people?
