I've read some pretty good books that have been suggested to me so i was wondering if any of you had some for me?? I generally like fantasy and realistic fiction.

oh and i have a book to recomend for you
THE TIME TRAVELORS WIFE!!!!!!
greatest book i have ever read. Its a bit grown up with romance and stuff but at the same time its got time travel and adventure. Not to mention little twists here and there. LADIES DO READ THIS BOOK ITS GREAT

Personally I liked the "Anita Blake" series by Laurel K Hamill. I would say the first few were great but the quality of the story line went down in the later part of the series. She is a vampire exicutioner and a necromancer. Interesting plot-line.

You can just google the name and come up with info on the series.

Phew, okay...good books. I have tons of suggestions (but to save people from my rambling, I'll be short and sweet, lol):
1-"Howl's Moving Castle" (yes, there is a book-this is where the concept came from-for those who don't already know)-by Diana Wynne Jones
2-"Castle in the Air" (the sequel to HMC-has nothing to do with the movies)-Diana Wynne Jones
3-"A Great and Terrible Beauty" (A story set in the Victorian era that follows a young girl as she sets off on her new life in England after the death of her mother)-by Libba Bray
4-"Rebel Angels" (Sequel to AGT-Libba Bray
5-"Timeline" (whew, what a read)-Michael Crichton
6-"Twilight" (for vampire novel lovers-even for those who aren't really into the vampire genre)-by Stephenie Meyer
7-"New Moon" (sequel to Twilight)-Stephenie Meyer
8-"Moon Called" (for those who are more for the werewolf genre)-by Patricia Briggs
9-"Memoirs of a Geisha" (the book is WAY better than the movie-not that I'm complaning)-by Arthur Golden
10-"The Alchemist" (I can't even begin to describe this book...it was simply amazing)-by Paulo Coelho
11-"The Tao of Pooh" (insightful, enlightening, entertaining...can't say much more about it!)-by Benjamin Hoff
12-"Eragon" (this book is excellent!)-by Christopher Paolini
13-Finally, what list would be complete without the mention of the Harry Potter series? I think we all know who that's by...

Yeah "The Alchemist" was one book where I just had to finish, pretty good.

I recommend The 48 Laws of Power, The DaVini Code, Angels and Demons, And Then There Were None.

Here is a book that I totally love: The Stranger, by Albert Camus. It's about freedom, giving a definition of freedom that is rarely ever mentioned. It's about a guy who's basically trying to figure out his life.

Although the author is (was, 'cause he's dead now) french, he's really well-known (he won a Nobel Prize) so there shouldn't be any problem finding this book translated in english.

It is realistic fiction (not fantasy or science fiction).

It's absolutly great. That's all I can say without spoiling anything.

If it hasn't been suggested already, read anything by Terry Pratchett. My favorite author by far. I started with Guards! Guards! and it was a good introduction to the series.
