Default J. R. R. Tolkien, anyone?

I think everyone know about The Lord Of The Rings now thanks to Peter Jackson, but I have to admit that The Hobbit was more interesting.

Any comments?

yeah same here. i loved the books they were magical. but the hobbit pwned every other book in every other way. they should make a movie based on it.

I've read the 4 Lord of the Rings books and I think they were great, though Two Towers was a bit of a chore to read

i think i liked the hobbit allot becouse it was actualy pretty funny ( the trolls deciding on how to cook the dwarf's and gandalf making them confused realy made me laugh) and after reading the hobbit i went to lord of the ring's and when i heard the name bilbo it was like hey he's back i liked bilbo more then frodo but i think that the lord of the ring's also have more action in it and its also ambout a bigger goal now

hobbit : kill a dragon
the lord of the ring's : destroy the ring and free middle-earth once and for all .

still the hobbit made it's part in making Tolkien a fantasy legend
