Default Rate your favorite book

We all have our all-time favorite book, whether it be romance, mystery, fantacy, adventure, ect. Give your favorite book a number rating; 1-bad, to, 10-the best ever!; and give a reason why you love this book.

My favorite book of all time is the Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks. I would give it a 9 out of 10. It's one of the best written books I've ever come across and it is easy to loose yourself in. If you are a huge fantacy fan and haven't come across Brook's magic, then this is a serious recomadation. (But read Sword of Shannara first, for Elfstones is the second in the series)

My fav. book would have to be....ah geez please don't hate me for this but Macbeth....I just love the drama and murder involved....but in terms of a good recent book....Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden...that whole series was classic and I'd rate everything but the end book about 9 out of 10

Hmn... My favorite book would be either "In the forest of the night" or "Shattered Mirror" by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I found them at the Young Adults section and got interested at the covers. ;x Both of them are suspenseful and rather supernatural/science fiction since it deals with vampires. But most of her books seem to be repeats of the same ending, so I got kind of bored with these books. My rating would be 8.5/10.

my favorite book is the Long Patrol by Brian Jacques. a story of a young hare who dreams of being a member of the famed Long Patrol. he escapes with a family friend to make his dream a reality. much action and awesome story line. great read for anyone. 10/10. oh and dooxy i read To kill a mockingbird for english class there are some better books and since it was school reading all the extra assignments made it seem worse.

Oh my. I've read so many books 'cause I never used to have many friends. I read the Lord of the Rings series at age 9 and started reading Stephen King at age 11. Well, the only one the pops up into my mind at the moment is His Dark Materials series. The first book I would give a 8/10. The second 7/10. And the last 9/10. They may be for younger kids but I still love them all the same.

My favorite is very unknown norwegian fantasy trilogy called "The Saga of the Last Nightwarrior" by Olaf Havnes. It's too bad this one haven't been translated into english as it has one the most complex and interesting main characters I have ever seen and a very good story to boot. I give that one a 10/10.
