My GF's birthday is in two weeks and i wanna get her something nice. But i don't want it to be too imposing. We've been going out for 4 months now. Would a heart shaped locket be too much?

Yeah, that too much! At your age its wise to spend according to your pocket. You can simply give her a red rose followed by a kiss. That will do your job!

Eh, a rose might be more expensive than a locket though. A rose is also temporary, it makes you look like you can throw money away on something that will wilt.
