For the boyfriend
What would a boyfriend really want for a birthday gift? I know that all the boys i've ever dated said that they didn't want anything but i've seen my brother and father and they both like the gifts. They'll secretly pout about their birthday not being remembered be people they are close to. (ok, so its not so secret pouting as they simply do it at home away from whomever didn't give them a gift) So, what to do. Oh, and i'll be out of state for the actual day too, go figure.

actually most guys dont really care about getting a birthday gift. just a small token of people's awknoledgement. like a batch of cookies or just a really big bear hug. i was satisfied with that for my birthday and i got a lot of it.

I wouldnt really request a gift, but if I got one from my friends, it would certainly make me happier. So I think it doesnt have to be anything fancy.

I've given it a lot of thought... and I really don't think men need much. At least I don't.
The thought is always nice, though. It's nice that you remembered, especially when you're old and grey and few people care or even remember you.
If you give him gifts (as well as love), he'll love you even more, not because of the gift, but because of the thought.
Although, I do reccomend that you get him something ungirly. Many men hate perfumes, poodles, and such things.

im used to not getting any , and my birthday is barely remembered by any body , so i dont care my self any more , any thing i want ill get it my self

We guys don't actually expect gifts that cost a lot... If you want to buy a guy quite a costly gift, buy him something that he can use frequently so that when he's using it, he'll always remember you... Well for example he plays basketball, then buy him something interrelated...

On the other hand, I think what we guys might value the most would be something personally created just for us... may it be a musical composition or a simple dinner for 2... I think most of us guys might treasure those more than anything else... |

But the cheapest gift, but still of much value gift you can give a guy would be just being sweet together with them the whole day long..... |

At the end of it all, a simple sweet telling of a "Happy Birthday" coming from someone that we value the most might already have just enough value!!! |
