Hello everybody!

There is a girl that I really like. We hang out a lot, talk, laugh. We share headphones, walk together, i lend her my jacket/sweater/hoody when she is cold, etc. And we have very very many common interests. But here is the problem.

I dont know if she sees me as just a friend, or if it is more than that. How can I clarify things? I think the best way would be to confess to her but I cant bring myself to do it. I am afraid it will permanently ruin our relationship.

Please Help!

well the question is are you willing to lose the friendship? what's more important? dating or friendship? just walk by her and act like you didn't see her, but make sure she notices you, if she comes to you thats a go ahead. and when your talking dont stay too long, that way you wont be stuck in the friend zone. i can go more into it if you want as i successfully did this like 3 times, but let me know if thats the case.

another thing you could try is just ask if she wants to get something to eat, when she says yes, as a friend would, just casually say "well call it a date". she'll prob. laugh, but when she does, don't and say "no i'm serious, it'd be great to go out on a date with you"

that date idea does sound like a good idea, though if she doesnt respond positively she might back away alot, depepnidng on her personality. Good clues that she likes you are that she makes extra time for you, leans towards you whilst sitting, as in watchin a movie or somethin, does things she normally doesnt like (for me it was horror movies), etc. dont' forget to drop your own hints too, just to try to test the waters, like treat her to dinner. thats a prety decent hint.

OMG guys, thanks for support, but its too late now.
i got rejected. At first, we agreed we would be just friends, but after a few talks she told me she cant continue the relationship and that she doesnt trust me coz my personality changed after that incident.
I am so sad, I at least want to be friends with her, and dating doesnt matter at all anymore. What should I do?

Tell her that you are sorry for any discomfort that you might have caused. Keep a kinda casual to professional way to how you interact with her for a while. It'll take some time, but she sould eventaully get over it. (whatever it might be)

I thought of the same thing. I already told her I am sorry, so I think I will act with her as if she was just an acquaintance. With time I think something might change. If there is no progress in 2-3 weeks, I will have to get over it.

aww.. so sorry for you the way it turned out..
but that doesnt really mean the end of the friendship...
all you gotta do now is chill for awhile...
leave her alone with her thoughts...

if she comes back to you then your friendship means alot to her too...
if she doesnt then she just doesnt know how to appreciate a good friend.

anyways, be cool.. things will work out eventually! gambatte!!

nah they didnt. i almost forgot about this thread. well, i have seen her in a month or so, but i dont feel sad about it at all
