Yeah, but having some life experience makes one a bit better prepared to cope with results that are not quite as expected. Mileage varies across the board, but I've seen cases where people in their early/mid teens have a harder time getting over a breakup than younger people (too young to appreciate the relationship) or people in early twenties (Old enough to know and appreciate the fact that there are other fish in the sea, more confident in themselves, etc.).

I don't think there is anything wrong with being evergreen at the age you are right now =) my brother had lots of relationship but didn't feel that actual 'love' feeling until his 22nd bday this past summer =D It always comes out that the longer you wait, the better the thing you're waiting for is. I hope you hang in there and be happy once your love comes

For puppy love, it was when i was in the fourth grade, but for my first love, it was when I was 12, and still lasting till now (18). [But love isn't perfect or pure happiness, because it lets you experience your worst and happiest moments in life. Like yin and yang; give or take.]
My mother's first love is my father and I'm not sure what age she fell for him, but she gave birth to my brother at 16 ^^;
