Movie dinner and then a walk at the nearest park. But if its for a first date then I let her pick the place. Makes no sense to not be the gentleman for the first date.

wow you guys have no clue lol. sorry but its true. ok i will give ya a little advice. get to know her befor ya date her. cuz she might be like me, i perfer to go for a picnic on a beach or in the woods and watch the sun go down. it depends on the girl if you just taking them to a dinner then a movie they are probly thinking.. "well this guy watches way to many movies". (take me for dinner and a movie i would never talk to ya again cuz i will probly think your just trying to play me)

Bring them out for some fun, know their hobbies, bring them out rollerblading if she likes. Or bring them to the beach.

well i tend to get to know them online. since all of my gfs go to another school. then the first is usually a movie. then all the following ones are really up to her. im not really that assertive so it doesnt matter either way

lol... this is rather funny...
although I am a girl, I say that t should depend on the individual... I mean, if they're shy, the cinema is good - no talking during it, so they get more at ease... then, if it was good or bad, there is always something to talk about afterwards...
not speaking from experience, but hey, that's what I reckon...

Totally don't take her to a movie-it's way too impersonal which is rubbish if you are actually trying to get to know her. On the other hand if you're shy...it could be good. I don't know if other girls feel like this but I don't like strangers seeing me eat-plus if you go for a meal with someone you always have the paranoi of being sen as greedy, or unintentionally eating something with onion or garlic in it, or making a mess...I don't want to spend the whole night worrying. I gotta say a nice walk is better! Good if you're both skint too!

sometimes i take her to amusement parks or parks itself.

i never went to a beach with my girlfriend alone yet. been with other people might try it one time though.

i have taken some to movies and all.

but most of the time i have to join her shopping.........
