Should I be Worried?

So, I've been dating this guy for a year and a half. We have a great relationship and I wouldn't change him or us for anything really. But, somehting recently kinda worried me.

I was looking around on his MySpace and noticed that the girl that's on his number two spot had put a new picture. I thought it was interesting, so I clicked on it to look and noticed he'd put a comment on it saying, and I quote, "I miss that smile. <3 "

Now on further back story between these two. Back when he lived in his old hometown, about two, three years ago, they had a thing for each other, but since he was going out with another girl at the time, they never did anything about it. She moved, then he moved, and nothing happened.

So, anyways, I don't know if I should be worried about this or not. He hasn't shown any lack of interest in me, and always calls me randomly just to say I love you, and is an overall really decent guy. What do you guys think I should do? I just really care about him, and that comment has just been bugging me.

Well, I think it is quite all right, and since I am a guy, I can relatively know why he gave that comment. Well, its just like he is giving comment on how long the smile's being away. Think it will be the same with other friends too, if u know what i meant.

Agreed you shouldn't worry about it at all. If you two have a good relationship he wouldn't do anything that would cause you any pain at all.
Personally i rather walk on coals then screw with some ones heart.

just because he wrote a comment like that doesn't mean he still likes her. u shouldn't think too much about it. just relax and enjoy his company.

i agree. you were overthinking it a little bit. im sure he really just enjoyed that smile and missed it. that happens to me a lot.

If he still shows interest in you, don't worry. Do NOT act like a stalker telling him 'I was looking on your MySpace and saw this picture and comment, I'd like to know what it's about' and begin to whine. Just be as kind and caring as ever. He might really be thinking about that girl with nostalgia, like an old friend, but without necessarily having regrets.

Give it more time, and see what happens.
