i'm about to finish watching BECK. this is the first time i watch an anime about bands. it's better than i expected. koyuki is great, though he's a common looking and very ordinary type of japanese boy, he got music talent inside him. i think it's a kind of common-man dream that u could do it if u try. for ryusuke he's quite a self-centred guy, sometimes he can be mean and hurt others feelings. maho, i don't know, i don't think she deserves a nice guy like koyuki. from scale of 1 to 10, i rate 8.

I finished watching it a few weeks ago. Tehee, it's also my first band anime. Cx It was quite touching and I love the 'Moon on the water' song. In the beginning I wasn't really interested in it, but that's with almost all animes. But with break up and all... that really moved me. I think they made Koyuki too normal. It was like he didn't had the image of a talented superstar.

I saw this when it originally was subbed and I really loved it! This anime is definitely a break from the common magic/action/fantasy/comedy/harem shows. I heard that the manga was supposed to be a thousand times better but I haven't been able to find it, if anybody wants to help me out then go ahead! LoL. Well yea, if you want something thats down to earth and enjoyable plus if you generally like music then this is the anime for you! Totally recommended, I'd say its a 9/10!
