Ah, she's not offended at all ^^
My brain does pretty well so far keeping the languages separated, other than the occasional having to think to find a word.
I'm sorry about your father's surgery having to get canceled. Funny when a doctor gets sick!
Sorry for the slow reply, I've been busy. Thursday I had orientation, Friday I had to get my uniform and ID, then today I had job training, haha.

Re: Ask Kate
Ah a new name that I have not talked to yet....Excellent....Old names were boring to speak too....Seeing that you're a girl and quite good in anime....Whats your thoughts on the trend of anime nowadays? With more mature themes being inserted into new animes like Heroic Age, Gundam Seed and Destiny? Is this trend do you think to stay? Or are anime watchers finally maturing instead of the myth that we are all fanboys who imagine themselves as heroes?

Cool.
And cool.
And once your skill in Japanese increases, I'll bet you'll have a lot of fun.
And most likely, you'll start using her brother as a supplier for Japanese video games (so you can practice...course that's probably a good 6 months from now...but still)

The whole surgery has been a big change in my family's life. But so far Dad's been remaining stable (in more ways then one), my mother is another story.
As far the Doctor goes: it's more then being sick. Something major has happened, and the hospital isn't allowed to say. Everything is now up in the air.

To be honest, I haven't had much time for anime in a long time, haha. Too much going on to have time to sit down and watch something.
Yuuji:
That's really weird about the doctor things.. are their any theories going around? I wonder what could've happened that is that big O_o
Well actually.. Saturday I only worked for general training. My ride is broken, so I couldn't get on ride training! The uniform is ugly :3
My birthday party is Saturday, so that should be fun.
Also, I work Sunday, I think they're going to train me on something besides what I was supposed to be on.

In a way, its too bad that you don't have time for anime anymore. Although:
1) It's evolved into interest in going TO the real Japan, along with the language.
2) I can fully understand about time....if it wasn't for the fact that I can hook up my laptop into my TV (its an LCD TV, with monitor hookup capabilities) I wouldn't be able to watch much either. What I've given up is TV, and instead watched downloaded shows. Also is nice to watch when winding down for the night before bed.
Hell, I probably will be canceling my cable in the next few months.

No information yet.
Just, its serious enough that the Doctor's daughter, who was out of state, got called in. That's about all I know so far.

*triestostiflealaugh*
....oh......that HAS to be anticlimatic!!
When will it be fixed?
And about the uniform:
There goes requesting pics.
And that is sooooo not Mii-chan!
Sorry that the uniform sucks (don't they usually think about this? Most of the Disney uniforms I've seen are cool)...is it something they keep there, or do you bring home?

Definitely.
Don't forget to tell us what loot you got.

Most likely. Though again, not exactly a solid foundation to start with.
A) Which ride were you originally going to be trained on?
B ) What ride would you want to be trained on? Maybe you can put in a polite request?
------------------
On a slightly different note:
How does it feel to be 16?
From my perspective, age was such an important issue to you when we first met. To be the point where you almost didn't believe me that it won't feel the same way when you get there.
Remember the countdown-birthday counter?
I think it took you about 6 months before getting to 15 wasn't that big of deal for you anymore.
What changed? (now that you can have a different perspective in looking back)

I hope this just means you've been really busy with the new job, etc etc etc...and that nothing else has happened.

Re: Ask Kate
Sorry!!
I don't know why I haven't responded yet o.O
I got busy on Friday, but then there's three days before that I kind of just.. lazed off ._.
Friday after school I walked home with my friends, it's a couple of miles, and at the rate we walk it takes a little over an hour, we just kind of hang out and talk. The weather was nice, so it was a lot of fun. Then Adam drove me home in his yellow mustang, that car is so cool, haha.
Saturday was my birthday party.. I slept in way too long and then ran around picking things up and getting ready for people to come over. My friend Katie came over early to help, and then we hung out until 6 when it started. I had 14 people total, though three were late because of work. We played volleyball in the yard with the net we set up for a while.. and then we ended up playing Red Rover. I don't know who suggested it, but it made for an intense game O_o We ate next (hamburgers and chips and fruit and stuff), then we played Guitar Hero and stuff in the basement. By then the other three arrived, so we had cake and opened presents. I got Barnes and Noble gift cards, some anime/Japan stuff, money, the DVD Juno, and some clothes and other random things. Then we went outside to play hide and go seek in the dark. I'm sure this sounds kind of childish, but it was really fun for some reason XDDD
And then we roasted marshmallows around the fire and talked until 11 when people left. =)
The next day I had work at 9:15 until 4:00. It was my first official day, and it was really fun, although we went down four times during my shift. I have a feeling that ride won't last past this year. It was really fast paced, so it went by fast, and I love the people I work with so far =)
I bounced between greeter (answering questions, measuring people, etc), and pre-show.. which is where we count people off into two rows and then operate the door leading into the ride, and also make the announcement about loose articles. It's fun to use the little intercom thinger.
Then Monday (yesterday) I had START club after school, and my mom picked me, Julia, Genny, and Adam up, and we all went to Julia's house for a while to hang out. At 5:30, she picked me up, and took me to get dinner on the way to my first Driver's Ed class. It was sooo boring, three hours of watching movies telling about how I'm going to die because I'm a teen driver. Seriously. We have to pay $400 for 24 hours of him pushing play on the DVD player.
And yeah. Today I stayed home because I'm worn out and didn't feel that great. I think I just needed a day. Tonight I'll be going to Adam's soccer game if it ends up being a home game and I can convince my mother. She probably will not let me because I didn't go to school... but we'll see. *crosses my fingers*
Your questions...
They let us take the uniforms home. But we have to return them at the end of the year, or we will get a negative rehire/reccommendation status for them.
I don't know... 16.. I can't really believe I'm that old, but there's a lot of new things going on and changing, more so than when I turned 15. I don't think it's as big of a deal though.
P.S. My dad is buying me a car =)

Nothing to be sorry about. Just usually when you are silent for almost a week, it means something's happened.

With the things you've had to do, 'lazing off' is sometimes good. As long as you are refreshed at the end of it. My 'laz-off' days were usually just me running from responsibilities, so I never felt better by the end of it. Not a good combo.

*heh*
And it's good exercise! (I've become a big fan of walking, while you've known me). And I always love 'just talking' with friends...though the talks usually take the most interesting tangents.
BTW, who is Adam?

How does one play Red Rover? Never played it myself.

Still, sounds like nice swag.

Actually....during the two Genshiken picnics, not only did we have water balloon fights, and blowing many things up (Er, I mean patriotically showing off our aerial emblazement skills), we also played two games of Battle Royale, where each member hunted and killed off each other. Other then weapons that were either useful, effective, or just plain silly (a ping pong paddle with ball)..we also threw in special items like two people could be 'lovers' and work together (turned out to be two guys), and even a DeathNote!
So hide and seek makes perfect sense to me.
Remember, the people in Genshiken range from 18-30, so those types of games still have its attractiveness. (I was a judge, so my age doesn't count)

Too bad about the ride's life expectancy.
But really glad to hear about that you're enjoying yourself!
And yep, all that power in the intercom thingy.....you're now in charge!
How does it feel?

What is START?
And yeah...don't get me started on paying money just to get a guy to show movies.
It is a complete ripoff on the surface.
As you find out when you enter the 'professional' workplace, sometimes its not what you do...its what the expected result is, that matters (I would need hours to cover this subject as to why). So basically someone requires an action, tries to setup something decent to abide by that action, but instead what you get a glossed over 'solution' done for the cheapest effort possible. But since they are the gatekeepers to your needed certificate, you have to jump through their hoops.
Tons of business manuever and lobby in order to become the 'gatekeepers'. You can probably see why now. *sigh*
How many more of 'em, do you need to go through?

And I'm beginning to...well, you've mentioned 'Adam' several times now. Hmmm.

Rgr that.
The only business that gave me a uniform when belly up, so they didn't ask for their vests back. I should really toss it. But its cool wearing something that says 'The Wiz' on it.

*smiles*
Although I didn't use those exact words, I believe I tried to tell you the same thing 2 years ago.
Back then you couldn't believe and/or wait to be 15, because of how much would apparently change. I think you see the difference.
My only advice to you is this: Time goes into hyperdrive now, and things continue to speed up (only because your focus is more on what is in front of you, rather then looking into the far future).
From time to time, take the time to 'smell the roses'.
I therefore hope you get more chances to walk 'for an hour' with friends, or talk with them til 11pm.
And when you do, look into the blue sky, or look at the red bars of the digital clock, and just take a breath. And think that you are here, right now, experiencing this..... a memorable snapshot of the time.
OK, Philosophizing over....what's this about a car? (new/used/fixerupper/family handmedown?/any choice of what you will get?)

ARGH.
The post didn't go through, and I didn't have it on copy because I'm correcting a writing assignment for a student in China, so I had something else there.
Crap.
I'll redo it tomorrow >>
