A fair question, and one that I would like to know about as well.

For some quirk of fate, I have never watched FMP...at first I thought it was related to FMA...y'know, all that 'full metal' stuff.

But I've heard many others speak very highly about the anime, but before I go out and buy it - I would like to hear other opinions abou the anime.

O.O ...is...it...good? Download it! It's very good! It's a mixture of action and comedy. Three seasons, FMP, FUMOFFU, and FMP: TSR

FMP its funny and has good action

FUMOFFU has alot of comedy in it and not much if any at all; mech fighting
it also contains spoofs from other anime and rediculous events

TSR has alot of mecha fights but is still sometimes funny...lotsa blood too

Rest assured Full Metal Panic is a great anime, indeed. You can
either dl or buy it. Though I suggest you first watch before.
Anyway, from all that HUGE mecha anime out there, Full Metal
Panic is one of the best mecha anime ever made. A must watch for
every otaku.

It's good especially fumoffu one. It's very funny. TSR season it's serious with some sad scenes. FMP is a mixture of both.

FMP = one of my fav anime of all time. i loved it, it has some romance, comedy, alot of action. just a brilliant anime. FMP! was awesome, FMP TSR = ownage, i loved it and i bet u will too. FMP Fumoffu is my fav one out of the 3, its pure comedy and has some lil romance, but not alot, so i think u should give it a shot.

Yes, it is, it's really worth watching, honestly... I watched the 3 season, that is to say: full metal panic, fumoffu and the second raid... I with there were a 4th season
