Saddest anime

What anime did you watch that tugged at your emotions the most. I'd have to say graveyard of fireflys. Gundam seed was a recent one that was pretty sad.

You know, Gundam Seed was a sad story, true, but I didn't really 'cry' over it. The one anime that had the most touching scenes (to me) was surprisingly Naruto instead.

The one that tugged on my emotions the most would have to be Wolf's Rain.

Full Moon wo Sagashite was emotional. It became very sad after episode 40.

i really want to read/see FMwS, i just dont have the time , anyway, if we talking about a sad anime, i vote for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, deep story, i really recommend it

i totally agree with uhoh_xD and would have to say that this is the most heartwrenching anime i have ever seen. it almost brought me to tears in the last 3 episodes
