I heard that new Copyright laws are in effect, right here (well, where I am...) in Canada! It prevents file-sharing in canada... Post if you learn more!

Even if it's true, you won't get in trouble for downloading. You'll only get in trouble for uploading.

i live in the us
ive heard bout it to but didnt really care
u know how many ppl in the world u p2p sharing
90% of every one who has a computer n internest
basically like 60% of america
i doubt they are going to hunt them down n fine everyone
it will cause lots of chaos among the ppl and they will have strikes n stuff
its just my opinion but ehh just dont mind it

i don't htink it's illegal to download like.. unlicensed anime/jdrama.. right? so it's safe.

they cant ban somethin that doesnt belong to them. they cant ban pple from downloadin anime uploadin im not sure. but i dont think they sure make a law towared uploadin cuz the violate the the freedom of the pple

well guess what... if this law applys then the owner of this forum will be sued for illeagal distribution of media files through out the internet... and he have pay for all the copies that we downloaded and plus few charges. and it isn't good. tho i live in canada, i dont want to see this day come forth... IF ANY ONE FINDS OUT ABOUT THIS, SKYLIGHT SHUT DOWN THIS FORUM AND RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!11, OR ELSE YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY UNTILL YOU ARE BANKRUPED...
