ok my first inclination is to say he builds a latter but i don't know if that's correct becuase there's nothing to hold it together and i don't know if the sticks are stronge enough my second idea is that he might use the sticks to dig under and get out that way and now i'm thinking that if it's just a wall on one side that goes in one direction as far as he can see why not just turn around and leave, the old saying when your upon insurmountable odds sometimes it's best ye surrender
