Ironically the price dropped after I bought mine around christmas but I have one of the last 80 gb which is being said to be a curse although I haven't had the problems most people are. The reason for the hard drive deduction is not just cost but the 30 gb drives can handle better and don't heat up. Even so I am gratefull I don't have a 360 I'd be crying with that red light of death
I do want a Wii eventually though i'll wait for the Frii that is rumored to come out next
