Otherwise, my opinion of what is the most difficult in a relationship is communication over time. Human beings can never, ever know what the other person is 100% thinking or feeling. Thus we have to trust them. Actually, its what makes a relationship special, its also a potential weakness.
And the person who you are at 20, is not the same at 30. Nor at 40, 50, etc. We change over time.
Hopefully, with good communication, we will change for the better.

I agree with you, its not possible to know what someone else is thinking, you can guess based on past decisions they've made and their character as a whole but that still doesn't mean you know, that's where trust comes in, trust is very important in a relationship, if you don't trust your significant other, you'll end up feeling jealous, suspecting them of things they haven't done, overreacting to certain situations, and overall thinking more of the things they could be doing behind your back than of the relationship you have with them that started it all and how much you care for them
