No Flaming
Flaming (insulting, slandering, personal attack or accusing other members) is not allowed, it isnt necessary and is hurtful to others and will not be tolerated.
No Spam
Do not make meaningless posts or off topic posts in this area, these threads are for discussion. If you must spam, please do it in the Spam section
On Topic
Stay on topic in a thread. You can go off topic a little bit with the smiley
but please stay on the subject of the thread. You can always start another thread to discuss another topic.
No Short Posts
When posting, please make your post a decent one. Those 1 to 2 word posts like "Agree" , "cool" , etc, are frown upon. No one wants to read that, post more comments along with your "i agree" , "that sucks". This will make your post more valuable.
No Swearing
Do not use foul language on these forums, maybe some people find it perfectly acceptable, but others do not, so please, have some common decency and refrain from such language.
Help Questions
If you have a help question, please try to find a thread that can answer it before starting a new one as there may already be an answer to it.
No posting of other players' Mediwar Stats
Do not post other players' stats but you may post your own stats.
Threads like "Post your SA / DA / CA / Stats" are allowed.
Cheating accusation/suspicion threads
Do not make these types of threads, and dont reply to them, they are pointless and an eyesore to the forums, if you believe someone has cheated, send a Private Message to
skylight about it, these types of threads are breeding grounds for flame wars and only anger people and hurt players

Rules
These rules may be changed at ANY time and without notice.
Please keep in mind that all accounts are closely monitored, and we do catch the cheaters.
You may:
- use a script or program to automatically log in to your account
- have an alliance of MediWar players.
- have your link in your AIM/MSN/ICQ etc. profile.
- post your link on a personal website.
- post your link on message boards where it is allowed and is on-topic.
- email your link to your friends or send it to them on instant messenger.
You may
NOT:
- have or maintain multiple accounts for ANY length of time or for ANY reason. ONLY ONE ACCOUNT PER PERSON. Playing more than one account because you have more than one computer or because a friend registered an account and gave it to you (or is on vacation) is cheating.
- share passwords with other people and log in to accounts that were not created by you. this means ONLY ONE PERSON PER ACCOUNT. Two or more people playing the same account is unfair and is considered cheating.
- use a bug exploit to gain unfair advantage in the game, such actions will lead to your account being reset or ban permanently.
- use a script or program or ANY AUTOMATED PROCESS to automatically perform tasks, including (but not limited to) bank deposits, weapon purchases, unit production upgrades, siege and fortification upgrades, training soldiers, attacking, spying, recruiting, and private messaging.
- click ANY recruit link more than once in a 24 hour period.
- use proxy servers, dynamic-ip servers, etc. to disguise your identity from the server in order to gain any advantage, including (but not limited to) clicking the same recruit link more than once in a 24 hour period, logging in to an account that is not yours, or attempting to violate any of the other rules listed.
- use an AUTOMATED PROCESS to repeatedly request pages from the server. this includes (but is not limited to) slowing the server to disrupt the game and resfreshing the session timeout due to inactivity.
- use the private message system to spam or flame other players.
- register an account with an email address that does not belong to you.
- post your link in chat rooms, newsgroups, message boards, or forums unless it is explicitly allowed by the owner/operator of the chat room, newsgroup, message board, forum, etc...
- advertise your link on adult websites.
- send your link to people whom you do not know, or to email lists, reflectors, or USENET groups.
- put your link in popup windowss, inside any frame, or using redirects.
- use scripts that fetch information off the MediWar website.
- have someone violate these rules on your behalf.
- Promoting other games in MediWar private message.
Enforcement:
- These rules are strictly enforced. If you are suspected of violating any of the above stated rules, your account can and will be terminated without notice and you may be permanently banned from the game.
- If you get caught trying to Hack/Packet or Abuse the server, you will be banned and your ISP will be contacted. Be warned!
