I am currently watching it.. the starting of the anime is very bad.. to the point that the female lead character is too much annoying. But it gets better as the series progress. The bad point that i feel about this anime is that there is no concrete storyline.. an episode may not be related to the previous one at all. Overall though, i love this series. Shall give it 8/10.

I fiirst read the novel in japanese...youko's personality is seems different in the books. It looks like they're having a hard time drawing the magical beasts, too. The series was REALLY good so i think it'll get better.

ive seen the first episode its pretty hazy you get no details and yes the main girl is annoying, the beasts look kinda lame too, the water flying girl is kewl though, 6 out of 10 so far...but ill give it a chance.

I've seen the whole series and it was one of the best animes I've ever seen. I wish the producers had kept making this series though. It sourt of just cut off at a really good part leaving a lot of loose ends. I'm thinking about getting the novel.

Warning though: The serires never truly ended. The creator (so I hear) wanted to finish a few things first, before he gave the go ahead on more episodes for the Anime.

Therefore, there is a storyline right int he middle,t hat is never ever finished.

and right now, its in moratorium.

That's why there is an odd number of episodes (45)

As to the main answer:
yes, I enjoyed it.
Hope they finished it.
And the copies of the episodes on this forum, are in pretty good shape.
