It is a really interesting anime. Really captured my attention and made me look forward to watching the next eps after finishing one.

Personally, I've seen the whole series and I found the graphics very beautiful. It's true that this anime is much more story based ,than action based, however,the story was good enough to keep my watching. Here are some clarifications: as blissfulcarnation posted, the series consist of 45 episodes, 39 of which represent the main story, and the remaining 6 are a nice side ark.

I've just finished watching this serie, and it is one of the best animes I've seen in a long time. The best part is the story. It reminds me a lot of ancient china with a touch of fantasy. You also get to learn a lot about warfare and politics (I know it sounds booring) in a intersting way.

I also liked the different characters, and how they grow and change into better people. I learned a lot watching this series, which doesn't happen every time I watch an anime sereis. Too bad the anime ended only at episode 45. I think they had more material to make at least one more season. Would really like to find out more about the other kingdoms.

I find 12 kingdoms is one of the best anime around.

Ths story is well developed. Even though the character needs to be developed more.

U just don't know what is going to happen on the next episode.

Quite exciting .
